The new generation Hydromover 2.0, equipped with the S-Renewable new energy power system from CSSC SETH, was officially delivered. The Hydromover 2.0 is an upgraded and iterated new product developed by Yinson Green Technology (YGT) based on the original Hydromover fully-electric cargo vessel. This new vessel features longer range, enabling it to cover all anchorages within the Singapore port area. It also boasts advantages such as faster charging speeds and greater cargo capacity, setting a new benchmark for zero-emission cargo transfer in ports worldwide.

The vessel was funded by YGT and constructed by Singaporean shipyard Marinteknik. The Hydromover 2.0's battery system is configured with 2 sets of lithium batteries, providing a total capacity of 914.536 kWh. The power system incorporates SETH's self-developed DC-LINK power distribution system. This system delivers a stable and reliable power system experience for the Hydromover 2.0, contributing significantly to its successful upgrade. Notably, SETH's core power converter, the S-Drive, received the Cybersecurity Certificate from Bureau Veritas (BV) on July 23, 2025. It demonstrates top-tier capabilities in the maritime industry regarding cyber-attack defense, system anti-interference, and data confidentiality, safeguarding the intelligence and security of the Hydromover 2.0.

The delivery of the Hydromover 2.0 marks a major step forward in YGT's vision to combine electrification and digitalization in maritime operation and represents a significant milestone for SETH in expanding its overseas all-electric vessel market. Currently, SETH, together with Seapex, has signed a contract with YGT for 5 vessels of the same type, working collaboratively to build a smarter, cleaner, and more connected maritime future.
